One Rare Bife de Chorizo, a Photo Story
Last night my wife decided to go out with some friends so I had to plan my solitude out. After work I went to George’s butcher shop and bought some 700 grams of bife de chorizo, a classic when at Buenos Aires. I live a thousand kilometers from there by the way, in Encarnación del Paraguay.
I got home and started to prepare the parrilla with Beethoven and Aretha, my beloved labs. Coal was burning while I was mixing arugula and fresh basil for a salad —highly recommended before any barbacue.
My Chilean quiet companion Cousiño-Macul poured itself into my glass and the night ignited full mode. Moon was high and fat as my aunt. A clear sky was shining over our heads. I laid the meat over the heat and magic flooded the quincho.
Enjoy the photos and be sure to approach your trusted butcher shop these days in search of some exquisite meat to land over your barbecue. It could well scare the solitude out of your night.
